Message :I experienced the same symptoms in my wife's Altima.... The dealer replaced the t-stat and bled.... then replaced the radiator....... couldn't figure it out, but it seemed to be 'fixed...
:About a year later, the same thing happed..... and another raditor (per the dealers diagnosis).... I come to fnd out after all of this 'repairing' that Nissan had a technical service bulletin (I found online) that described this and the fix was a new radiator cap! I wish their own mechanics would read this stuff... I replaced it and it hasn't been a problem since.

I have pressure tested my cap, and it checked out fine. It is a cheap fix though and I might still need to be replaced. I will try that.
